On June 4th 1837, Garwood Burton Palmer and his brother opened a small linens and drapery shop in Great Yarmouth Market Place. Over 175 years later, Palmers is still an independent family business, but now that small shop is a full-line department store.

We are a family run business and have been trading in Great Yarmouth town centre since 1820. The shop is now run by the eighth generation of the Norman family. We offer a range of sofas, chairs, dining room, living room, bedroom and beds as well as a range of rugs and lamps from many well known brands.
